Seward Excursions — Kenai Fjords & Gulf of Alaska
Seward is the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park and the primary embarkation/debarkation port for Gulf of Alaska cruises. The town sits at the head of Resurrection Bay, surrounded by mountains and tidewater glaciers accessible by boat.
The Kenai Fjords wildlife cruise is the signature excursion — a 6–8 hour boat trip past calving glaciers, puffin colonies, sea lion haul-outs, and humpback whales. Kayaking in Resurrection Bay and halibut fishing charters are excellent alternatives. The Exit Glacier trail in Kenai Fjords National Park is a short drive from town.
